Garlock Packmaster 1
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 500°F (260°C)
- pH Range: 4-10
- Maximum Shaft Surface Speed: 1,500 fpm
- Maximum Pressure: 300 psi (20 bar) rotary/centrifugal
- Typical applications are rotary, centrifugal, and reciprocating pumps for such services as mild acids and alkalis, air and dry industrial gases, petroleum and synthetic oils, aromatic and aliphatic solvents, and fluids where non-contamination is required.
- Ideal where clean, reliable, non-contaminated packing is required.
Garlock Packmaster 2
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 500°F (260°C)
- pH Range: 4-10
- Maximum Shaft Surface Speed: 1,500 fpm
- Maximum Pressure: 300 psi (20 bar) rotary/centrifugal
- Typical services include rotary and centrifugal pumps, reciprocating pumps, and gasketing applications or other non-critical static sealing services.
- Suitable for services in hot and cold water, alcohol, very mild acids and alkalis, and steam.
Garlock Packmaster 3
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 500°F (260°C)
- pH Range: 4-10
- Maximum Shaft Surface Speed: 1,000 fpm
- Maximum Pressure: 200 psi (14 bar) rotary/centrifugal
- This product is particularly suitable for older or worn equipment or scored shafts; the construction is more readily deformable to meet these conditions.
- A reliable low-cost option suitable for low to medium pressures.
Garlock Packmaster 6
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 550°F (288°C)
- pH Range: 0-14
- Maximum Shaft Surface Speed: 3,000 fpm
- Maximum Pressure: 300 psi (20 bar) rotary/centrifugal
- Premium packing that combines PTFE and Graphite to provide extended life, excellent chemical resistance, and strong shock resistance.
- Long-lasting packing that is suitable for most applications. A common choice for important pumps where down-time has to be kept at a minimum.
Garlock Packmaster 6K
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 550°F (288°C)
- pH Range: 3-12
- Maximum Shaft Surface Speed: 1,900 fpm
- Maximum Pressure: 500 psi (35 bar) rotary/centrifugal
- Similar to PM-6, but special aramid fiber corners provide added abrasion resistance.
- It is expensive, but provides excellent abrasion resistance, shock resistance, pressure resistance and chemical resistance.
