CJ curved jaw coupling inserts provide shaft-to-shaft connections with no metal-to-metal contact and no lubrication required. Curved inserts provide improved torsional softness and angular misalignment capability compared to standard L-Jaw style spider inserts. Easy to install and replace. Applications include power transmission to industrial equipment such as pumps, gear boxes, compressors, blowers, mixers, and conveyors. These CJ inserts come in three different shore hardnesses, each providing a different level of torque capacity, damping, and chemical resistance. This 98A red polyurethane insert provides increased hardness resulting in increased torque capacity compared to other hardnesses.
